Told in Their Own Words:Air Support Operating System from Aerodome

Demonstrated at: #DRONERESPONDERS24

Drone as First Responder (DFR) is rapidly becoming a vital tool for proactive policing. Pioneered by the Chula Vista Police Department, the concept has spread to a growing list of US and European municipalities. At the DRONERESPONDERS 2024 National Public Safety UAS Conference, California startup Aerodome launched its Air Support Operating System. Consisting of an Air Traffic Awareness module and a Flight Operations Module, the offer aims to provide integrated functionality for all critical phases of drone flight.

In this live demonstration, Aerodome highlights its integrations with remote Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) robotic docks, Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), and airspace monitoring systems, including ADSB and radar. Company Co-Founder Rahul Sidu brings a unique background that couples time as a full-time patrol officer in Redondo Beach with startup success at SPIDR Tech that culminated in a sale to Versaterm Public Safety.

Thanks to Aerodome SVP for Business Development Brett Kanda for the extensive look at the modules. It takes nerve to do a live demonstration flying a drone more than 1,000 miles away using conference Wi-Fi!
