SDI's APAA has long supported a rich set of personnel accountability features enabled by integration with Motorola Solution's APX portable radios. Following the product's deployment with Houston Fire Department, SDI moved to expand its functionality beyond accountability with support for fire ground incident command management. At FDIC 2023, SDI showed its progress while also highlighting its new support for personnel accountability integration with the 3M Scott breathing apparatus. Combining the rich incident command functionality, radio integration, and breathing apparatus integration marks a significant step forward for SDI.
