Told in Their Own Words: Adashi C&C Incident Command Software from Adashi Systems

Adashi Systems LLC Systems, a Versaterm Public Safety Company, offers a variety of software packages supporting fire service operations. Capabilities include mobile data terminal software, personnel scheduling, and personnel alerting. At FDIC 2022, Adashi demonstrated its extensive command and control software for incident management. The rich feature set spans the traditional command board, automatic data exchange with the computer-aided dispatch, personnel accountability tracking, mayday alerts, tactical worksheets, mapping, access to pre-plans, and more.

The major news that Adashi Systems brought to FDIC is comprehensive integration with two-way digital messaging between the incident management system and commonly used fireground tools offered by 3M Scott and L3Harris Technologies. In an encouraging move, 3M Scott agreed to provide selected partners with an interface to SEMS-enabled SCBAs. Adashi Systems used this interface to monitor breathing apparatus capacity levels and alert signals. The two-way interface provides incident commanders with the capability of sending Personnel Accountability Report (PAR) commands or evacuation orders. Breathing apparatus users reply with a push of a button on their controller.

In a similar vein, L3 Harris collaborated with Adashi Systems to flow two-way digital messages between the incident command software and a firefighter's portable radio. The messages are transmitted using standard Project 25 functionality.
